United Malacca Bhd (UMB) has come forward to explain that it was not selling the two parcels of oil palm land of 25,000 acres in Kinabatangan, Sabah, claiming that the documents purportedly signed by its directors had been forged.
UMB had received some documents purportedly signed by its directors indicationg its intention of selling the Millian-Labau Land.
“All the signatures in the said documents purported to be those of directors of UMB are forgeries.”
“The directors of UMG whose signatures were forged have made a police report relating to the forgery their of signatures,” it said in a filing with the exchange yesterday.
